So where were you? (Part 2)

...I simply kept staring at him. What did he mean? We were neither in the midst of any war…nor under threat of any kind of natural calamities. Then what did he mean? I wanted an explanation, so I asked him. He looked at me and shrugged his shoulders; then slowly; as if he was about to reveal a secret to me; he said ‘you deserve to die’. The world will kill you soon…because you don’t know how to survive. Not expecting this kind of behavior from him, I almost felt like a lost child. My eyes moist, my legs trembling, and my heart beating faster…I ran out of his house. He is my friend, my heart kept repeating… Three years later, one evening I sat in front of the window of my rented one room flat, and reflected through the moments of my life. I have searched a lot for that ‘good post’ that I deserved, but never found it. They offered me some chance but with my dignity I could not accept them. The result was that neither could I marry nor take care of my parents…I noticed two boys walking

So where were you? (Part 1)

And why did I stop writing? I was busy... busy at searching myself. I wanted to find what could be best for me. In this world, where we all need good pay-scale jobs, I was looking for one of those. It was challenging, since I have no experience... no back-ups. I needed help. But there was no one to help me. I looked everywhere for you. But only to realize that you are no more a part of my life. I don't blame him. He had to leave because that offer he got was worth taking. He had to move forward in life and I couldn’t become a burden on him. But I could not teach my heart this truth, and believe me it suffered a lot. 'Life has to go on' is the basic truth, so I started looking around for inspiration. I found it in the form of a spider, who tried hard to reach the top of the ceiling, but after failing four times it, did not give up and at the end a lizard came and ate it up. I knew this was the real story of life. So I decided not to give up; because I already know my fut
